We have been learning how to use money and all the different credit cards and how they can trick you and take more than they should that is called interest. They have to be very clear about how much you will pay back. We have really be enjoying it.
On the 17th February a group of people came in and built a tetrahedron their names were Osian, Amanda and Linda Jane we built it step by step. I really enjoyed doing the tetrahedron it was really high it was 4 metres wide and 4 metres long.
Charley And I made a comic on the life of a cube in maths. The class all made one too! Well let me tell you what happened in our story. It started with a cube that didn’t know anything cool about himself, Then one day he read a book called the life of a cube. He had found out a lot about himself and he wanted to tell the whole
P7 created a lunar theme park. The year is 2050 and man is colonising the moon. We made our own theme park with rides etc. We then had to calculate running costs. After that we had to decide on an entrance price and work out what profit we made. We then had to deduct running costs to see if we had made a profit or loss.
Today the red circles were doing decimals and we were measuring things and writing the decimal for it and we all enjoyed it! 😀
Our class is in charge of taking forward Health and Wellbeing for Eco Schools. Today Joshua and I went around the classes and asking them what would make eating fruit more exciting and encourage more children to buy fruit from the tuck shop. Josh and I thought Smoothies and Fruit Kebabs would make it more exciting. There were quite alot of great ideas and most people voted for smoothies.

For maths the blue squares have being enjoying some active maths. We have been studying fractions and decimals. We played a game called souveneirs where we had to add up money. We also got to play decimals games on the computer.
