Each child at Knowetop Primary is assigned to one of the four houses when they start school. They are; Allan, Inglis, Preston and Ritchie. Each week pupils look to earn house points from members of staff, these may be given for good work, good behaviour, manners or something that is given for the theme that week at assembly. The house with the most points at the end of each week is announced at assembly.

Each year pupils from P4-P7 nominate P7 House Captains. Each house listens to each candidate give a presentation on why they should be voted for, followed by a vote. From this a House Captain and Vice Captain are selected. A list of this school year’s captains can be found in the Pupil Zone of our website.
