S3 Computing Science
In S3 pupils receive 3 periods per week building on their existing skills to prepare them for the National courses in S4.
This course is very much practical in nature with pupils using different applications to create Programmes, Websites and Databases.
Pupils study:
- Computer Architecture
- Software Design & Development using Python
- Web Design and Development using HTML & CSS
- Database Design and Development using MS Access
S4
If pupils opt to continue this subject in S4 they will start working towards the National level assessments most appropriate to their needs and abilities.
