I am very impressed with this week’s star writers. You worked your socks off during writing today. Well done to the two children who won the pupil of the week award over the past two weeks. Keep up the good work!

Herzlich Willkommen
Time Experts!
Primary 5 have been working very hard during their first week back. They have been learning to convert times between 12 hour time and 24 hour time. We are now experts at reading and writing analogue and digital time! We have also been working in partners assessing each other’s learning. Well done P5 on being successful learners. Keep up the hard work!
A busy day in p1a
P1a worker hard in all curricular areas today but they worked especially hard in literacy and maths. They are also learning to give relevant feedback during peer assessment. I am very pleased with your effort and attitude towards learning.
Glenmanor Nursery Get Busy in the Forest!
The pre-school boys and girls from the Butterfly Group and some of the afternoon Bumblebee and Ladybird Groups enjoyed a visit to the forest. They had a great time building a den in the forest and they enjoyed some snack and a story. They saw lots of wildlife including a big buzzard and some giant tree snails! They are looking forward to visiting the forest again soon. Thank you to all the parents and carers who helped us on our forest trip.
Are you a litterbug?
P1a are learning all about litter and recycling! We are bringing about positive change by doing some litter picking and by encouraging people to take care of their environment. We are going to make persuasive posters to encourage all pupils to put litter in the bin. We also learned a song about litter and we are looking forward to recording this song and uploading it to our blog!
P4/5 – do you know your bones?

Cashless Catering System Starts Tomorrow!
This leaflet was sent home today because all pupils were issued with a lunch card today. These are kept in school. Pupils need to add money to their cards before they can purchase breakfast, tuck or lunch. There is a machine to do this in the hall.
Parents will be able to add money online very soon. Details to follow.
