Glenmanor Choir and Sense Scotland
On Monday 23rd of November, twenty five members of the Glenmanor choir attended an event called ‘Sense Scotland’ in the City Chambers in Glasgow. The aim of the event was to raise money for people who are deaf, blind physically challenged. This was a great opportunity for all the children who attended the event.
The Glenmanor choir is very keen to take part in more charity events. In the words of Miss O’Neill, “I am very proud of the children that took part”. The songs the children sang were ‘Somewhere Only We Know’, ‘Tonight’, ‘Come And Join The Celebration’, ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Emanuel’. The children had a fabulous time and thought that the building looked absolutely spectacular.

Dress Down Day Friday 27 November
Friday 27 November is a non-uniform day. Children are asked to bring a donation for the cake and candy stall at our Christmas Fair on Saturday. We look forward to welcoming you all then. Please note items can be homemade or shop bought.
P2 and their ‘Sense’ of Adventure!
Primary 2 had a great time in the Sensory Garden, Community Garden and Playground this morning. They took notes on their clip boards of things they experienced through their five senses.
Why not think about what you can “sense” in your own home?
The children smelled the herbs in the sensory garden. The lavender was very strong!
Taking notes on the clip board to help with a writing lesson later.
Smelling the fragrant plant in the Community Garden
Using the picnic benches in the sheltered area to finish our notes.
Christmas Crafts in Primary 3
Busy, busy children today in Primary 3. We were making Christmas decorations for Saturday and the children coped really well with a tricky activity. We used cotton buds to make a snowflake then we painted them using glitter paint then added some little jewels to make them sparkly. Tomorrow we will cut them out and add some Christmas ribbon. Super effort today!
