We are very busy making plans for our annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 25 November. We are trying hard to beat the amount of £2,000 raised last year.
Any donations of fancy goods, tombola items and bottles would be greatly appreciated. Please send donations directly to Mrs Martin.
If you or a family member work for an organistion that may be able to make a donation but require a letter from the school please contact us directly.
Letters were issued today to allow you to volunteer and/ or arrange for your child to visit Santa.
Many thanks for your continued support in making our school the very best that it can be.
Excellent singing from the children at our Service of Remembrance yesterday.
“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will Remember Them.”
Primary 5/6, 6/7 and 7 shared with us the importance of Remembrance Day at our whole school service this morning. Well done to the confident readers who read facts and poems clearly and sang songs enthusiastically and to all children for showing respect during the minutes silence. Thanks also to the Reverend Mark McKeown for joining us and sharing with us some words about Sacrifice.

These children won prizes for winning the money quiz during our Financial Education Workshop!

Amongst other fun things, this week we have been busy learning to add two groups together. We have also been learning to blend words using the letters we have covered so far.
Today, we learned about budgets and expenditures. We had a pretend budget of £50.00 and chose items from a catalogue to work out the total, stick to the budget and count out the coins and notes.
