Due to adverse weather conditions tonight’s P1 enrolment has been cancelled. If you are unable to attend on the following dates a nominated member can attend on your behalf. Failing that please contact the school office to make a suitable appointment. We apologise but this matter is out with our control.

Scavenger Hunt

This afternoon P1 went out on an exciting scavenger hunt in the school garden.

The children had to listen to a riddle before working together to find the answer.

Everyone managed to to work well in their teams and remain on task during such an exciting lesson.

The he children and I are looking forward to doing something similar another day!

We learned about an artistic technique called ‘hatching’ to create tone and texture in our detailed drawings of the famous birthplace of our national bard, Robert Burns!

The thatched roof looks so real, you could almost touch it!

Children who attain the age of 5 years between 1 March 2018 and 28 February 2019 should be registered on one of the following time:

Monday 15 January 1.00-3.00pm

Tuesday 16 January 6.00-8.00pm

Wednesday 17 January 9.00-10.00am and 2.00-3.00pm

Thursday 18 January 9.00-10.00am

Enrolment will take place in the school foyer.

Joint Choir Event Moodiesburn Church

The festivities continue for the senior choir with a visit to Moodiesburn Church. They sang a couple of their favourite carols along with St Michael’s Primary choir and heard from the Reverend Mark McKeown and Father Michael about “The baby who brought a crowd.”
