Shorts and shades disco 18/5/17. P1-P3 6.30pm-7.30pm and P4-P7 7.45pm-8.45pm. £2 per child includes crisps and a drink.
Long Jump for P4/5 and P5/6
We had lots of fun during shared PE this morning having a go at the long jump. We worked in teams and measured how far we could jump from a standing position. Our next steps are to try a run up before jumping then the triple jump!
Outdoor Classroom Day 18/5/17
We are excited to be taking part in Outdoor Classroom Day on Thursday 18/5/17. Please come to school dressed in warm clothes. Letters were issued today. Please check school bags. P4-P7 children should Beat The Street fobs to school.
P4 Beautiful Birds
Today P4 made some bird art with stencils and paint. They cut out their bird stencil, secured it with blue tack and added watercolour paint around it to create a marvellous silhouette. Don’t they look great?
P1 Traffic Survey
This week P1 carried out a traffic survey. Â They have gathered their information and will now display this on a bar graph.

Forest School Fun
A huge thank you to Mrs Donald for planning and organising all of our forest school fun activities. Children have very much enjoyed learning outdoors. Many thanks for parents/ carers that attended. Without your support the forest kindergarten would not be possible. We appreciate your understanding of date changes to allow for staffing issues to be resolved.
P3 & P4 Awesome Athletics
These great classes have been trying hard to perfect their athletics skills in P.E. They have been having a go at javelin, shotput, long jump, relay, sprint and hurdles.
P4/5 and P5/6 school trip
We had fun in Edinburgh today with a trip to the dungeons followed by an afternoon in the National Museum of Scotland!
It was all too much for some!
