Remember the book fayre is at Glenmanor this week. Bring money if you’d like to buy something!
We are very busy making plans for our annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 25 November. We are trying hard to beat the amount of £2,000 raised last year.
Any donations of fancy goods, tombola items and bottles would be greatly appreciated. Please send donations directly to Mrs Martin.
If you or a family member work for an organistion that may be able to make a donation but require a letter from the school please contact us directly.
Letters were issued today to allow you to volunteer and/ or arrange for your child to visit Santa.
Many thanks for your continued support in making our school the very best that it can be.
Excellent singing from the children at our Service of Remembrance yesterday.
“At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will Remember Them.”
Primary 5/6, 6/7 and 7 shared with us the importance of Remembrance Day at our whole school service this morning. Well done to the confident readers who read facts and poems clearly and sang songs enthusiastically and to all children for showing respect during the minutes silence. Thanks also to the Reverend Mark McKeown for joining us and sharing with us some words about Sacrifice.
Parents, carers and friends of Glenmanor,
We are looking for photos of relatives who you would like to be remembered for their contributions to the wars of the past in our memorial service this year. If you have any photos of these friends or relatives, please ask your child to pass them to Mrs MacGregor or simply drop the photo into the school office with your name and number attached so we can take a copy and return the original to you. Their pictures and any facts about them will be included in a Powerpoint presentation during our Remembrance Day assembly.
Children who brought pictures and information of a relative last year, don’t need to bring it in again as a copy has been retained. Thanks in advance, Mrs MacGregor.

Today we had a visit from Olympic boxer, Charlie Flynn. All children took part in circuit training and listened well during a motivational assembly. Look at them go!
Today we say goodbye to our Principal Teacher, Mrs Nicolson after 18 years at Glenmanor. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and good luck for the future.
