Today p1/2 helped out in the garden by picking the runner beans and courgettes and clearing both beds. Not only did we have fun, we also learned lots while out in garden! We can’t wait to continue to take our learning outdoors next term. 🌲🍂🍁

P.E in p1/2
This week p1/2 developed our team work skills by playing the ‘mat challenge’. We had to get our team from one side of the hall to the other without putting our hands or feet on the ground. The only help we had was 2 mats and our teammates.
This was a big challenge but each child managed it amazingly well. Well done, p1/2! 👏🏻
We Will Remember Them
Parents, carers and friends of Glenmanor,
We are looking for photos of relatives who you would like to be remembered for their contributions to the wars of the past in our memorial service this year. If you have any photos of these friends or relatives, please ask your child to pass them to Miss O’Neill or simply drop the photo into the school office with your name and number attached so we can take a copy and return the original to you. Their pictures and any facts about them will be included in a Powerpoint presentation during our Remembrance Day assembly. Thanks in advance, Miss O’Neill.

P3 and P4 Team-Building in P.E
In joint gym today, the boys and girls completed an assault course in teams and each member had to collect a puzzle piece. The team had to wait until all members were back home before using their communication and problem solving skills to complete the puzzle. All children tried very hard to be good team players. Well done!
P1/2 were on a bear hunt!
As part of our outdoor and adventure P.E lessons, p1/2 went on a (Glen) bear hunt! We followed the clues around the sensory and memorial garden until we finally found him hiding in the shed!! I wonder where Glen will be hiding next week!
