We designed our own books! We chose our own audience and wrote our own imaginative stories! We edited our first drafts then added illustrations, front cover and a blurb! We hope our audiences enjoyed reading them as much as we did creating them.

P4/5 Fractions Homework

Decorated Eggs P2-P7
Primary 2 – Primary 7 should hand in decorated eggs to the school on Wednesday 23rd March. A chocolate easter egg for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be presented.

Delightful dividers
P4/5 have been working hard on their division! We had fun today using our knowledge of division facts to play some games.
Golden Time Fun on the middle landing
P4 and P4/5 doubled up this week to have great fun during golden time. We had some dancing, football, cake decorating, art, loom bands and some fun on the iPads. We are looking forward to next week already!

A huge thank you to all of our visitors on Friday morning who came along and helped us with our fabulous art work! We created some beautiful water colour paintings of icebergs and learned some super facts about glaciers and icebergs!
Telling the time using digital and analogue clocks
P4/5 have been working hard to tell the time. Today we have been consolidating our knowledge of converting digital and analogue clocks. We set up different stations in the class using a variety of resources and had great fun too!
Igloo fun on Friday
P4/5 made some super igloo models on Friday using paper plates, bowls, cups and some cotton wool.
It’s getting chilly in P4/5
This week we have been busy showcasing our learning about the animals of the Arctic and Antarctica.
We painted our fabulous clay models.
Some people created powerpoints as part of their homework to share their knowledge of a chosen animal. They were outstanding!
We wrote some super shape poems using our knowledge of the animals.
