This week the boys and girls did a great job preparing the vegetables from the growing garden to make yummy vegetable macaroni pasta. Another tasty snack …so delicious and healthy!!
The boys and girls in the nursery worked really well together to make this fantastic clock to help them to sing “Hickory Dickory Dock”. They also used an i pad to listen to a longer version of the rhyme which involved lots of animals climbing up the clock and ended with a cheeky elephant, who was a bit too big and heavy !!!

Family groups with children that do not attend the school or nursery should assemble in the school hall for 8.30am to allow for siblings to attend high school etc on time. Sibling groups where all children attend Glenmanor Primary or Nursery Class will be photographed throughout the day.

The boys and girls in the nursery have been keeping busy during free play ,on their own and with their friends , to develop their pencil control and problem solving skills when completing large floor jigsaws. The children are becoming more confident at receiting nursery rhymes. Great work !
The boys and girls have been very busy this week at the writing table. They have been making up silly rhyming sentences with the support from Mrs Donald.They all did such a great job using a pencil to overwrite letters to make words.We are so proud of everyone that we have made a lovely display wall at the writing table.

The boys and girls in the nursery have been having lots of fun exploring the new climbing frame with a slide and trying their best to throw the balls into the basketball nets.!!
This week in nursery the maths challenge is ……”Can you draw a spider with 4 legs at each side and then count how many legs altogether”. Well done boys and girls ….lovely drawings and counting out loud !
The boys and girls in the nursery were very excited to discover how much fun the gigantic parachute was on a very windy day. Some of the children thought they were going on a trip to the clouds !!
