Primary 3 are learning about the 1990s. We found out that the first Toy Story came out on the 22nd November 1995. The children designed their own movie posters using important information. Primary 3 worked so hard and the final movie posters are wonderful. Well done to everyone!
The boys and girls in the nursery are really enjoying learning lots of nursery rhymes. They have been busy exploring rhythm and listening to words that sound the same. Here they are acting out the rhyme ‘Miss Polly had a Dolly’. It was great fun!
P4/5 have been working hard on their spelling strategies. We made up mnemonics to help us spell the word Edinburgh.
Well done to Kayden, Elle, Billie and Sophia for working hard to produce some personal writing about what they like to learn in school. I am so proud of the effort you all put into your work today!
Have a look at P2’s wonderful wall display. They created mermaid collages and ‘WANTED’ posters for the mermaid called Freya in their class story, “Can You Catch a Mermaid?”
This clever girl has written a fantastic report explaining what the Millennium Bug was. She included some fabulous sub-headings. Well done Chloe!
We are learning all about nursery rhymes. This week we have enjoyed learning about Hickory Dickory Dock and Humpty Dumpty. We acted out our rhymes using puppets and props.
