P4/5 created beautiful polar landscapes using chalk. We researched different landscapes from Antarctica and created our own ‘Antarctica moonrise’. We thought about the cold colours we would need to use and had a go at blending colours together to create some wonderful effects.

We started our new topic today all about the frozen planet. We learned about the polar regions, Arctic and Antarctica. We were able to identify them on maps and research some facts about them.

The Arctic is a frozen ocean surrounded by land and Antarctica is a frozen land surrounded by ocean.  We are looking forward to finding out more about this.

Times Tables Games

We had a great fun at our Christmas Party today. We looked fantastic and were showing off our brilliant dance moves!

Yesterday P4/5 had great fun learning about money! We used the Argos catalogues to find different things we would like to get for Christmas and worked out how much it would all cost. Mrs Fisher then gave us a budget and we had to try very hard to stay within it!

Today we put our Christmas tree up and wrote instructions on how to do it! It was then the Christmas lunch so we are feeling very festive! Only 21 days until Christmas!
