The boys and girls prepared for the Chryston Horticultural Society’s Lego creation category of their competition. We will finalise our designs later in the week!

Today some of this group made rice crispy and marshmallow tray bake! Delish!

P4 tried hard today to use tone in their drawings of a garden bird.

Thanks to all family and friends for coming along to Primary 4’s open event. We were thrilled that it was so well attended and the children had a great time entertaining you with jokes, facts and songs. We hope you liked taking part in the bird beak experiment too!

P4 went out to do some more work in the garden. Our runner beans, courgettes and cabbages are doing well and we planted out some tomato plants.

P4 made some excellent carnival inspired bird masks today. We plan to wear them at our open event on the 13th June.

A great morning at the P4 sports day!

P4 are learning about the Muslim festival of Ramadan. The boys and girls learned that some women decorate their hands and feet with intricate patterns called henna or mendhi to celebrate the end of the holy month. We had a go at creating our own henna patterns.
