Primary 2 had great fun measuring different objects using non-standard units such as handspans, feet, counters, cubes and paperclips. They were also comparing their heights and using descriptive language such as taller than, smaller than and is the same as.

That’s certainly very active learning P2 and it looks great fun! Can you imagine having to measure the whole playground in handspans?
