Learning about Scotland in Primary 1

We are really enjoying our Scotland topic and business is booming in our Tourist Information Office. (it is a popular choice for Purposeful play)   The telephone is always answered very professionally .. “Good Afternoon, Tourist Information – how can I help you?”

We are enjoying lots of different art tasks using chalk, paints and collage.  Look at our amazing Nessie and our kilts on the washing line!

We had a special Scottish treat – some shortbread and Irn Bru (sugar free).  We learnt how to say cheers in Scots – “Slainte!”
