Promoting Positive Relationships

In Glenboig Primary we do lots to promote positive relationships. We worked with pupils and parents to create a system where all children were able to achieve a reward and feel successful in school.

Firstly children have to be IN school to participate and succeed. To encourage the best possible attendance we monitor levels of attendance monthly. Children who achieve 100% for that month receive a personal letter, congratulating them, from the Head Teacher. We then monitor termly and children achieving 100% attendance for the term are rewarded with a fun activity in school. Children who achieve exceptional attendance over the course of a year receive a special reward at the end of the year.
