Another busy week in Primary 1.  We have been learning about odd and even numbers – look at us in action.

We have learnt that all even numbers can be shared between two people equally!

Here we are working out if different numbers can be shared equally … if they can they are an even number – if not an odd number.

We love playing odd and even number games on the Smartboard.

This activity is sorting our numicon into odd and even numbers.

Playing cards are brilliant for maths.  Here we are sorting them into even numbers 2,4,6,8 & 10 … and our odd numbers are put in the “odds” hoop.

Sorting our socks into pairs – and then counting the pairs, counting them up in twos – 2,4,6,8,10,12 ….
