GHS GENERATIONS

Pupils have been taking part in weekly visits to Cumbernauld Care home to spend time with the residents there. There has been an impressive amount of young people interested in taking part in this and it has been an incredible experience for all involved so far. The pupils spend time getting to know the residents on a weekly basis through conversation, crafts and playing games such as dominos. The pupils also made a special visit over the Christmas Holidays where they arranged Christmas singing, music and dancing and brought some family along too. This was an extremely memorable visit and had both the residents and staff up dancing and singing along! Our weekly visits will start up again in January and we have lots of exciting projects lined up to continue building our new relationship with the Cumbernauld Care Home Community.
