We have had a number of concerns raised by worried local residents regarding pupils not using the pedestrian footbridge on Greenfaulds Road at the end of Athelstane Drive.
This seems to be exacerbated with cars parked along Greenfaulds Road at the end of the school day and pupils going between the cars to cross the road rather than use the footbridge.
We would really appreciate if your son/daughter use this route that you encourage them to use the footbridge rather than take the unnecessary risk of crossing this busy road. We would also like to re-iterate, whilst we understand how busy the school pickup and drop off points are at the end of the day, it is important to park both considerately and safely in and around the local community.
Thank you for your continued support.
