Letter from REACH Lanarkshire Autism

Good afternoon,

I am an activity Coordinator for REACH Lanarkshire Autism. We have recently been funded by NLC to develop new groups in the Motherwell area. We currently have a Teen group age 12-16 and a Youth group age 8-11yrs.
We run these sessions in Holy Trinity Church , Crawford street, Motherwell.

In order for a parent/carer to access these groups they will need to become a member.  As a member, they can join our private Facebook pages.  Our REACH Lanarkshire Autism Activities page is where they will find relevant information on REACH activities posted daily, and any special one-off events, trips etc.   As well as seeing what activities are available for their child, they can ask for a place, or for their name to be added to waiting lists.

Our REACH Lanarkshire Autism Support page is very popular with our members who share their experiences to help each other.  We also have a REACH Lanarkshire Autism Community page which has been set up for members to come together to have a chat about autism, life, training, events, meet ups etc.

Family Support Worker, Joanne Craig, can point them in the direction of any services suitable for their child as well as supporting them as a family whether that be emotionally or for general advice. She can be contacted on 0141 641 0068 if they feel they would like a chat before joining.

If you would like to become a member, please log onto our website:

and click on ‘memberships’ where they can complete our online membership form.  This will allow their details to appear on our secure online database.

Thank you for your time

Kind regards

Pauline Pew
