We have a programme of induction activities over the year prior to your child starting school. Some examples from previous years are: visiting the infant department, lunch before your child attends school and a story telling session.
If your child attends a local nursery they will be invited along for a visit with their nursery staff and will also meet our staff when we go on nursery visits.
This allows you to get to know staff and routines of the school so that the transition from home to school life can be made as comfortable as possible.
