We loved looking at the amazing shells that a lucky boy found on his holiday. We had to be very gentle with them as some of them were very delicate. He also found some crab claws all on his own.

Primary 2a & 2b have been learning all about possession games in P.E. We learned about moving around the hall and passing with a football and now we are learning about basketball. We are working in pairs and using our marking skills to make sure our partners can’t get away from us!

We have been enjoying taking part in some torchlight reading. Our topic is night and day and we’ve learned all about light, shadows and the dark. We brought in our own torches to use with our reading books!

Pete the Dragon left us a special gift for reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. He gave us magic beans! We planted them and made a wish that we hope comes true. We now have to look after our ‘beanstalks’ so that they grow.
