It is very important that all children drink enough water throughout the school day. Access is provided to water coolers for the children to use. Please encourage your child to stay hydrated in school.
We are also hoping for some good weather in the coming weeks and would remind parents to apply sunscreen prior to coming to school and carried with your child if it is needed again during the day.
Sunscreen should be used for covering exposed areas of the skin when shade may be unavailable. Sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 should be used to protect from UVA and UVB rays.

Primary 7a and 7b are hosting a ‘WWII Showcase’ event in school on Friday 10th May at 1.15pm in the packed lunch area. Parents will have the opportunity to see the children’s Anderson Shelter models, as well as visit the P7 classrooms to try a WWII quiz created by the children. Tea and coffee will also be served. The showcase event should last approximately 1 hour.
