P1a had a busy day. We started off by working on our fine motor skills, catching marbles and using chop sticks! Then we had a good practise of our number formation. We even had time to do our Daily Mile with the help of our chums from P2a!

Letters have been given out to children who have expressed an interest regarding Mrs Kiernan’s popular after school clubs. Please note that letters of interest should be returned to the class teacher no later than Wednesday 25th September.
Cross Country and running clubs will then start on Tuesday 1st October.

Classes are having fun learning about Road Safety and taking part in the annual Road Safety Calendar competition for 2020. The closing date for this is 4-10-19.
Please note that PROJECT EDWARD is being held all over Europe on 26th September 2019. EDWARD stands for European Day Without A Road Death. Pupils will be taking home pledges to be signed by every pupil and their families. All staff, office, support, cleaning, janitorial and dinner ladies will be taking part in Cumbernauld Primary School.

The Tempest photographer will visit the school next week on TUESDAY 17th SEPTEMBER. Individual photographs will be taken of each child together with a class photo for P1 & P7 classes only.
If you require a family group photo in addition to an individual one, please complete the return slip at the bottom of the attached letter below & return to you child’s teacher by this Friday, 13th September.
If you have difficulty in printing the return slip, please contact the office for a paper copy.
