World Book Day – March 2nd

Just a little reminder that our World Book Day Book Swap is free to all pupils. We can’t thank you enough for all the high quality books that have been donated to us. All pupils will have the opportunity to select at least one ‘new to me book’ when they visit the Book Swap on Thursday.

If any pupil would like to ‘Guess How Many Bookworms Are In The Jar’, they may have a guess for 50p. The winner receives the jar of ‘bookworms’ (gelatine free fizzy gummy worms).

Teachers will also explain to the children about our Decorate a Potato for World Book Day competition. Albert Bartlett in Airdrie have kindly donated potatoes for this competition. All entries must be in by Monday March 6th and further details will be given to the pupils on World Book Day.
