In class we have been doing science experiments. Our topic is natural disasters so we have been learning about volcanoes. We did the experiment on how to erupt our own volcanoes. We used a plastic bottle with no water in it, scrap paper, plasticene, glitter, 250ml of vinegar, a funnel and 3 tablespoons of baking powder. All of the class got to put in the vinegar and baking powder. We started by covering the plastic bottle with scrap paper and then covered with plasticene. We added glitter to make it look like lava flowing out and then we put in the vinegar and baking powder. Miss O’Neil took videos of the volcanoes exploding. We really enjoyed this experiment and hope to do it again.
