For the past two weeks primary 7 have been learning about different units of measure. Those include volume, capacity, area and perimetre. Today in class we were doing stations about the volume of a solid. In our station, we were building a solid object and working out its volume. To work out the volume of a solid, the formular is: volume of solid = length x height x width. When your talking about the volume of a solid, the unit of measure you use is centimetre cube or cubic centimetre. it would usally look like ‘cm3’ or ‘m3’ which stands for metres cube or cubic metres….
For example (if there wsas a cube that had a length of 4cm, a height of 2cm and a width of 3cm the solution to work it out is, you multiply 4x2x3=24cm3)
