In class our new topic has become WW2. We started off with what we know and what we wanted to learn. We found out things like how the war started, what countries were involved and what countries were neutral. We are having people which may have lived through the war or fought during the war. We also have a reading book about some children who were evacuated because of the war. We are gong to be learning about civilians during the war and their ration books. We have already started a bit of that with the air raid siren. We have to get under the table, get down on our knees and hold the back of our neck down to protect our vital organs and then wait until a long constant siren sounds so we can get out.
