This week we have been learning about Lowry and his art work. This is what we have been doing.
Conor – We traced some of his art work. His people look like stick men.
Jay – We were painting houses like Lowry.
Katie – We have been learning how to build houses with the blocks and how to do the background, add detail and do stick people.
Riley – We were smudging the pastels to look like sky and the ground.
Brielle – We have been putting blocks onto the piece of paper up the way and across the way.
Atholl – We used shiny paper and normal paper to make rockets. We cut out circles, triangles and squares and stuck them on too.
I Chose to write on the blog as pupil choice for homework.
I loved making the fireworks.
I think they look amazing.
I even used the pastels to colour my nose.
You have done some amazing art this week. I really like your firework pictures too and am looking forward to seeing these on display in your classroom.
