Chapelside Primary

Vision & Values

“At Chapelside Primary we aim, in partnership with parents, the wider community and other services, to provide a safe and caring environment within which each child is enabled to achieve his/her potential.”

We provide a secure and stimulating environment where the children can learn effectively. We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, according to Curriculum for Excellence Experiences and Outcomes, to suit the needs and abilities of every individual pupil. Children are encouraged to engage actively in their learning process and are supported in developing as Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens, Effective Contributors and Successful Learners.

The staff and pupils work together to create a warm, welcoming ethos where each child feels valued, respected and included. Each child and member of staff are part of our ‘House System’ at Chapelside Primary, creating a sense of community throughout the entire school.

We are a non-denominational primary school serving the North Area of Airdrie. We look forward to welcoming our new pupils and parents/carers enrolling with Chapelside Primary each year and can assure you that we will all do our best to make sure that you and your child will enjoy being part of our school in the years to come. We also welcome new families moving to the area and endeavour to ensure a smooth transition to Chapelside Primary School.

  4. We shall try our best at all times.
  5. We shall keep safe at all times.
