One of the many challenges issued to S1 and S2 during lockdown, pupils were asked to create a model of a famous building from scrap/ recycled materials they had at home.
We had lots of amazing entries with the top award going to Jack in class 1.3. Chloe from 2.6 was a close 2nd, with Alistair from 1.6 finishing off the top 3… Well done to all pupils who submitted a entry.
Normally we just post other people’s videos from Youtube however we recently set-up a department Twitter account (that we need to use more often) and we now also have some of our own videos on online.

S1 pupils recently took part in three days of problem solving and team work tasks as part of a whole school IDL project.
During their time in the Technical dept the pupils were tasked with two construction based activities where they had to work as part of a team to design and build a freestanding tower from drinking straws then a bridge from K’nex.
