We are all back at school and happy to start our new session.  Our new S1 pupils are well settled this morning and all other pupils and staff are enjoying getting to know their new classes!

Welcome back to all after our Spring Break, we hope you are all rested and looking forward to the final session of this year.  It will be a very busy term as usual and there are a few important diary dates to remind you of :-

We are proud to announce that our grand total raised was £339!  Thank you all so much for your support!

Mark, Nathan, Jack, Adam, Gordon and Aimie would like to thank their friends at Firpark Secondary for the great Valentine’s Disco they held on Thursday.  The music was great and the dance floor was full all night!  In addition to ourselves and Firpark there were pupils  from Glencryan High School and Lanark Grammar so it was a great opportunity to meet new people!

As stated in the letter sent home tonight we have been experiencing problems with our heating and water systems.  We will be open from nine tomorrow as usual however WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 3 P.M. so pupils will be home earlier than usual, please ensure there will be someone available to collect them from their transport.  During the day the children are being taken out on an educational outing, with the majority attending a pre-arranged concert at Celtic Connections in Glasgow.  The office will be staffed throughout the day if you have any queries.  Many thanks for your cooperation and apologies for the inconvenience.

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to change the date of our next Parent / Carer meeting to 2nd February at 1.30 pm.  Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Happy New Year from us all here at Bothwellpark!  All staff and pupils have returned in good spirits and we are looking forward to the new term.  Best Wishes from us all for a happy and prosperous 2017!
