Information for returning to St Bartholomew’s Nursery- 22nd February 2021
All of the staff are looking forward to welcoming you our nursery children back on Monday 22nd February 2021.
Each group will continue to have a staggered start/end time.
These are unchanged and remain as follows:
Blue Group (Mrs Kelly): 8.40 – 2.40
Green Group (Mrs Whelan): 8.50 – 2.50
Yellow Group (Mrs Connolly) 9.00 – 3.00
We are aware that returning to Nursery will be an exciting but anxious time for you all. We will be bringing children back in smaller groups to support yourself and your child to be reassured and settled back into Nursery.
The procedures for entry and exit the nursery are still the same as before:
Unfortunately parents will not be able to enter the building to drop your child off or to pick them up, however you will find a familiar member of Nursery Staff at the door to greet you.
To enter the nursery/school grounds via the gate on Deveron Street and follow the arrows on the path down the side of the building to the nursery door. At the door you will find a stop sing to signify the drop off point. Once you have dropped off your child you turn back and follow the arrows back up the path to exit the same gate onto Deveron Street
Please remember to follow the rules:
2 meter social distancing at all times
Wearing of a face mask when coming to the nursery.
The Nursery Staff have been busy contacting all the families returning on Monday 22nd February.
If you have not received a phone call or email by Friday can you please contact the school office to check your contact details.

Information for return to St Bartholomew’s Nursery – January 21
You will be aware that the First Minister announced at the weekend.
In line with the guidance from the Scottish Government the nursery will be open from Wednesday 6th January only for children of key workers and vulnerable families.
The nursery will be open for only those who have been contacted and those who have registered as key workers. It is worth noting that both parents must be key workers, and register online. Parents/carers who are key workers only should complete the key worker support form and send to the dedicated mailbox: keyworkerschools@northlan.gov.uk.
We will be in contact in January and please check our blog for activities to do with your children at home.
Thanks you in advance for your continued support and from everyone in the St Bartholomew’s Nursery family have and happy Christmas.
Please look out for a letter from our executive director for arrangements in January.
Kind regards,
The Nursery Staff

🌟🎅🏼 St Bartholomew’s Christmas Joy 🎄⛄️
What a busy December we have had! The children have thoroughly enjoyed listening to and learning all about the nativity. We hope you enjoy the enterprise bags the children have made with love 💕; we had a wonderful time talking about our families and important people in our lives while creating them.
Have a very Merry Christmas and Stay Safe, from all at St Bartholomew’s Nursery❣️

Early Literacy skills
We have been taking part in a variety of experiences to develop our literacy skills. Looking and listening to stories, sharing our own thoughts and experiences. Using pictures to talk about and recall The Nativity Story. Looking at words and discussing where the first letter is and overwriting letters.
