Bikeability Success

Our P6/7 pupils have had training in Bikeability for the last 3 Friday afternoons.  Despite the cold weather, they have shown great attitudes, perseverance and resilience along with a little touch of fun.  Delighted to say that they have all passed Bikeability 1 and can now progress onto Bikeability 2 which we will plan for sometime in the new year.

Many thanks to Robert, our cycle trainer, who gave up his time to come and work with the children and train Mrs Rae in delivering Bikeability 1.

Certificates and badges will be handed out at our next assembly.

Celebrating Personal and Wider Achievement

This talented pupil received Student of the Month at her Boxing Club

This super pupil received his 2nd Level Duckling Award at Swimming

These super stars have been very successful.  From helping with a new baby brother and being a fantastic big sis, building dens and putting their face under the water when swimming, and receiving the 7th and 8th Cub Tiger Stripes at Tiger Cubs Taekwando.  One of these lovely cherubs also used her own money to buy lots of items for our Harvest Assembly which we are donating to Kilsyth Food Bank.

This super girl has been working really hard on her reading and doing a grand job of it!

These amazing pupils have been reaching for the stars with their achievements.  From being selected for one-to-one race training with the British Ski Team Member and Olympic hopeful, Zak Vinter from his ski club, being moved up to level 2b at swimming lessons which means going up to the deep end, being proud because she can finally read musical notes, for getting better at forward flips on bouncy castles, moving up to Level 3 in swimming lessons, getting swimming awards, and doing great with the chanter as well as helping out with the animals on the farm and driving the digger, quad and loadall.

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!  WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!

We are proud of Mrs Rae, too because she passed her First Aid Test!

Celebrating Personal and Wider Achievement

Congratulations to this super girl earning second place in gymnastics.
Many achievements for this great girl in tap dancing!

At our Celebrating Success Assembly a number of pupils shared their personal achievements.

The Henderson’s have been developing their skills looking after the animals on the farm by mixing feed, flattening the wool, and driving the quad and loaders.  When they are not doing this, they are practising their instruments or generally being a great help to their family.

Aaliyah has become more responsible around the house and earned herself more pocket money!

Others have been joining clubs in the community, such as gymnastics, cheerleading and football!
