Pupil Voice Assembly – The Roarsome Rights Respecters

Pupil Voice Assembly – The Roarsome Rights Respecters

On Tuesday it was the turn of our pupil voice group, The Roarsome Rights Respecters, to lead the learning in their pupil voice assembly.

They did a fabulous job and had organised a range of activities based on different rights and enabling the children to both access and develop their understanding of these rights.

Some of the Articles chosen by the pupils and included in the activities were:

Article 13 – The right to find out things and share what you know with others.

Article 7 – The right to a name and to belong to a country.

Article 31 – The right to play and relax by doing things like sports, music and drama.

At the end of assembly the children gave and received feedback from each other about what they liked about assembly and possible improvements for next time.  The children gave some very positive and useful feedback.

Have a look at our photos to see the assembly in action!

Many thanks to our Roarsome Rights Respecters and Miss Smith for leading the learning in this assembly.
