Focus Day and Parent Event
Today we held our planned focus day and combined it with our parent engagement event.
There was a focus on Scots language in the morning with pupils reading, writing and speaking in Scots. Our parents were welcomed into the classrooms to share a wee bit of this learning.
Lunchtime was a Scottish menu in the lunch hall which many of our learners enjoyed.
In the afternoon all of our learners got together in the hall to join in with some Scottish dancing and fun! There might even have been a wee traditional Scottish snack and drink as refreshment after all that hard work.
We hope our parents enjoyed the chance to come and share in learning in our school and we look forward to our next parent event coming up soon.
