Ardvullin Adventure

Ardvullin Adventure

The wee before last the primary sevens and Mrs Rae packed their bags for a week of outdoor adventures. They headed off with pupils from Chapelgreen primary to Ardvullin near Fort William.

We went to Ardvullin for our residential trip. I had lots of fun because we got to do lots of cool activities. It was hard to say what one I liked best because they were all really good. We did Segways, fire pit, beach morning, horse riding, a night walk and team challenges.

The Segways were hard at first because it was hard to control them then when I got the hang of it was really easy and fun.

The beach morning was great because we got to build and dig in the sand and then we got to go deep into the sea but it was freezing cold.

When we did the fire pit we were trying to light cotton wool with a flint and steel. I could make sparks well and they were nearly always landing on the cotton wool but it didn’t want to light so I just kept trying and then it eventually light.

The horse riding was fun once I got the hang of it but it was really scary at the start. The night walk was so cool. The team challenges were really fun and they were really hard but we got them eventually.
