The inspectors gathered evidence to evaluate the quality of leadership and management, learning provision and children’s successes and achievements. The inspection process identified strengths and areas for improvement. The letter for parents/guardians has now been published along with additional inspection evidence from pupils, parents/guardians, staff questionnaires. Wow! Rookie Rockstars certainly made an impression on everyone at Aitkenhead. We had a brilliant two nights rocking it out, dressing up and putting on amazing performances. We demonstrated that we are all confident individuals, even down to our audience members that ‘volunteered’ their talents. Thank you to everyone for coming along and supporting the school in tackling anti-bullying, promoting confidence, self-esteem, and positive friendships. Did you enjoy the performance?
Tonight will see the first of our two nights of Rookie Rockstars performances. We are all so excited and looking forward to a great night. Remember children must be brought to school between 6-6.15pm and arrive via the senior door. Children can be as creative and flamboyant as they dress as a rockstar or if they prefer to wear jeans and a t-shirt that is fine too. Parents staying for
Friday 24th March Next Friday our Parent Council will be hosting our Mother’s Day sale along with some Primary 7 volunteers. Thank you to everyone that has donated gifts so far, we have some beautiful gifts ready for the day. Please continue to show your support by donating any unused gifts that the children can sell, such as toiletries, chocolates, key-rings, photo frames etc. All children will have an opportunity
Parents Night will be taking place on Thursday 23rd March (next week). Appointment times will be issued before the end of this week. We are very much looking forward to updating you on your child/children’s progress during this session.
