St. Serf’s Primary School aims to create a stimulating and educationally sound environment where the children placed in our care are encouraged to feel confident in developing a healthy approach to learning. The children are encouraged to work co-operatively with others to develop a caring responsible attitude within their community, and to live according to the teaching of the Catholic Church.

At St. Serf’s, the children follow a balanced curriculum that includes language, mathematics, expressive arts, environmental studies and religious and moral education as well as other areas of learning where they discover the world in which they live, find out about other peoples of the world and their differing beliefs; use some of the new technology provided by the school and experience the wonders of art, music and drama.

By following such a wide and varied curriculum, which takes place both inside and outside the school, our children will become caring adults with a knowledge and understanding, not only of their own community, but also of the wider world around them.
