St Ignatius' PS

Weekly Blog – 10th September

On Tuesday our Pre-school children from the nursery will be graduating as will our Primary 7 children on Friday. I wish them all the best for the future as they take the next step in their learning journey.

Primary 7 leavers mass is at 9.30am in the Church with Graduations starting at 11.00am in the school. There will also be a performance from our Primary 7 children at 1.30pm in the school with tea and cakes served afterwards. All parents and family members of these children are most welcome to come along.

Thursday will be the last day of swimming for our Primary 5 children. They have worked hard and progressed well in their swimming over the last few months.

Can I also draw your attention to the increase in price for the breakfast service provided by North Lanarkshire.  A letter has been sent home regarding this.

Finally some sad news, Mrs Zonfrillo (formally Miss Burns) will be leaving us at the end of June. She will now take up a new position in the new language and communication unit in St Aidan’s Primary School.  We will miss her here at St Ignatius but wish her all the best for her future career. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work and creativity over the last three years.
