Community Action
After the recent vandalism in our school playground the children decided to help. P5/6/7 delivered leaflets to members of our local community to let them know what had happened and ask them to be vigilant.
VANDALISM IN OUR PLAYGROUND!
Please help us stop this vandalism in our school grounds! The children and staff of Calderbank Primary have been working extremely hard to improve our school and were bitterly disappointed to see this destruction which occurred on Monday the 24th March between 5pm and 6am.
If you have any information which would help us stop this from happening again, please contact the school on 01236 632084 or Airdrie Police on 01236 505100.
Visit to Recoverwaste
Members of our Eco committee and Pupil Voice group visited a local recycling centre. We toured the plant and learned all about the recycling processes they use.
Dance 2gether Competition
Children from P3-P7 performed their dance routine at Airdrie Academy High School. We are extremely proud of their efforts! We would like to say a special thank you to Colette, who choreographed the dance and taught the children during our weekly lunchtime club.
London Trip
Primary 6 & 7 pupils from Calderbank and Tollbrae primary enjoyed a residential excursion to the city of London. They visited many of the sites in the city as well as taking in a West End production of ‘Charlie & the Chocolate Factory’.
