We have been working together to improve our school grounds. We planted lots of different flower bulbs and are planning lots more gardening to brighten up our playground and grow our own herbs and vegetables.

P5/6 Football Festival
Our footballers joined other teams in the Airdrie cluster to play 7 a side football. The children played well and were praised for their behaviour, positive attitude and good sportsmanship.
JRSO – New Cycle Shelter
Our JRSO representatives meet with the NLC Road safety team to discuss plans to build a cycle shelter in the school playground. The JRSO conducted a vote to decide on the shelter colour. The highest votes was for the colour blue and the new shelter should be ready in March.
All children are reminded that they are welcome bring their  cycle or scooter to school each day. We recommend that the wear a safety helmet and bring a bike lock to secure their property during the school day.
P3/4 Outdoor Learning
P3/4 proving that active numeracy is great fun as they took their  learning into the playground.
New technology

Share my learning evening
On Tuesday 4th February, many of our parents came along to visit the school and  share in the learning of their children.
RSHP Parent Workshop
We are grateful to all the parents we came along to our workshop on Thursday 17th January. We hope you found it reassuring and beneficial as the feedback was very encouraging and positive.

Term 3 After School Clubs
The P1-3 children were given the opportunity to join a Fun Fitness club on a Monday from 3-4pm and it was great to see all our P1 children taking part. The P4-7 children were also invited to join basketball on a Thursday from 3-4pm and thoroughly enjoyed  furthering their skills.
Our Burns Celebration
We had a wonderful day celebrating Scottish verse and had our traditional Burns’ Supper in the afternoon, led by primary 7.
