So you want to be a writer?

How blockbuster games are written is a look at how narrative design is used create the plot of AAA games.

A great story can carry a poor game and a bad story can destroy a good game.  Take for example Portal which is a fairly standard puzzle game but the story lifts it to a whole new level.

There are plenty of great games out there with great stories, often you find them in the last place you look. However, you could start here.

Editing with Sauerbraten

Cube 2: Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer & singleplayer first person shooter, the successor of the Cube FPS.

Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is fun, old school deathmatch gameplay and also to allow map/geometry editing to be done cooperatively in-game.
