Learning begins at 8:30am and 12:20pm. The start of each session is an important time when quality learning begins. Please arrive promptly as staff cannot leave the children unattended to open the door for late arrivals. Doors open for collection at 11:40am and 3:30pm.
If you are running late please enter via the main school doors, a member of staff will bring your child through to the nursery. This is school policy.
£2 per week on a Monday. Children have a choice of a healthy snack with a drink of water or milk. Please check the weekly menu.
Stay and Play
If you would like to join your child for a play session, please alert a member of staff.
Change of clothes
Please leave a change of clothes for your child on their peg. Your child may become wet for a number of reasons and we do not have any spare clothes.
Every Wednesday, please help your children learn how to change into their gym shoes. Please dress them in comfy joggers/leggings. Velcro shoes are the easiest to put on and off for your child and staff.
Please sign for your child when you collect them. Alert a member of staff if somebody else is collecting your child. Please hold their hand as you leave for your child’s safety. We ask that mobile phones be turned off as you enter the building.
Early Years Class uniform
Please label your children’s clothes, shoes and boots. We are not responsible for ‘lost’ jumpers if they are not labelled appropriately. Joggers and leggings are the most comfortable clothes for children. Please do not send your child in ‘designer gear.’
Our lending library is every Thursday. Your child will receive a blue bag. Please return the book bag and complete a review each week. We also run a book bug session every week.
Choose one of 59 numbers. £1 can be paid on a Monday along with snack money. If your number matches Saturday’s Draw you win half of the money collected with the other half going to the nursery fund for trips and fun days.
If you are shopping online please visit this site to raise money for our Early Years class. Simply click on our name; St. Bridget’s Nursery-Kilbirnie, and order your goods in the usual way. We receive a percentage of all money spent at no cost to you.
