New book stands!
Mrs Vaughan is delighted with the new book stands which display the weekly displays and new books much better. You can see the book covers and something may jump out at you as a must read!
Displays change weekly so remember to pop in and see what available. Recent displays have included LGBT+ and Here be dragons!
World Book Day Competitions
To celebrate World Book Day, why not enter the
library competitions?
Firstly, there’s match the book character pairs – pick up an entry form from Mrs Vaughan. Prize to be won! Closing date 23 March.
Secondly, you will have heard the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its
cover!” so why not try a mystery book – no information on the wrapped up book so it’s a lucky dip!! Read at least 3 chapters, fill in the review card, and be in with a chance of winning a prize. Closing date 30 March.
Thirdly, see Mrs Vaughan about a book token to get a free World Book Day book from the local supermarkets or Waterstones.
