Library Resources

• There are approximately 2900 junior and senior fiction books in the fiction section. There are also around 250 books which are quick reads – short books to get you into reading – and around 380 graphic novels (including manga and comic books).
• The non-fiction section contains around 2330 books and is arranged using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme – numerical system where like subjects are located together. A helpsheet is available to explain ​DDC in more detail. There are guides at each bay which indicate which subject is on the shelves, but if you cannot find what you are looking for, just ask Mrs Vaughan for help.
• The reference section holds around 100 books, covering all subject areas.
