STILL TIME TO ENTER – DEADLINE 11 MARCH
World Book Day on Thurs 4 March is a celebration of books and reading, through providing the opportunity for every child to have a
book of their own. Vouchers for this at school reception or use the electronic voucher.
To celebrate this important day, there are 3 Library competitions you can enter:
Competition 1 – decorate a boiled egg as a book character (it is nearly Easter after all!) – send a photo of your creation to Mrs Vaughan
Competition 2 – have a go at the foreign book cover quiz – guess the book title in English from the foreign covers. Bonus points if you know which language each cover is in!
Competition 3 – take a photo of yourself reading to your pet! Even if the “pet” is a wee brother or sister or cousin! Send photos to Mrs Vaughan
Enter one or more for the chance of winning a prize! Deadline for entries is 10 March. Good luck!
