End of Term Arrangements
End of Term Important Information
Pupil Progress Reports will be issued on Friday 31st
March 2023.
School finishes 30 minutes early on Friday 31st March
at 2:30p.m.
Supported Learning and Enhanced Deaf Provision
taxis and parent pick up will be between 2:00p.m.
and 2:15p.m.
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday and
all children and staff will return to Elderbank on
Monday 17th April.
Cash for Kids Announcement
Cash for Kids Dress Down Day – Friday 17th March
Our final fundraising event for Cash for Kids will be a dress down day on Friday. All pupils and staff who would like to participate can dress down and make a donation to Cash for Kids.
Sign Language Week
Sign Language Week will be running from 13th – 19th March 2023 and is run on an annual basis by the British Deaf Association (BDA). It is celebrated each year in March to coincide with the anniversary of the recognition of BSL by the British Government in 2003.

Cash For Kids – School Competition
We’re raising money as part of the Schools Challenge with Cash for Kids. We’ll get to keep everything we raise, but the top three fundraising schools will receive an extra award from the charity!
Any amount you can to give is very much appreciated. After you sponsor us, it would be great if you could leave a photo or video support message too!

World Book Day – Thursday 2nd March
This year for World Book Day the children will be participating in activities in their class. We would like to invite all staff and pupils to dress down and bring their favourite book to school.

Strike Action
Please note that the school will be closed on Tuesday 28th February and Wednesday 1st March due to teacher strike action. Further information can be found on the North Ayrshire Council website.
Be Bright, Be Seen Day
Our Junior Road Safety Officers are running a Be Bright Be Seen day!
When: Tuesday 21st February 2023
What: Children will learn about how important it is to wear bright clothing when they are out at night.
There will be a design competition with prizes to win too!
We would encourage the children to wear bright clothing to school on this day, school uniform is not required.
